Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA)
The Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) is a central document for the future European Partnership for Pandemic Preparedness. It aims to define the thematic priorities and strategic objectives of the Partnership, and to be a guiding document for the European research ecosystem. By analysing existing gaps in research programs and structural deficits, describing approaches to address them, and carefully describing priorities for action and stakeholders to be involved, the SRIA will contribute to a Europe that is better prepared for pandemics.
Taken into account inputs from recognised experts in a wide range of disciplines from European Member States and institutions, Associated Countries, and stakeholders involved in pandemic preparedness at regional, national, European and international level, the partners of the CSA BE READY have developed a first version of the SRIA, which can be found below. A detailed explanation of the development process can be found in the chapters II and VII of the SRIA.

Online consultation on the first draft of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda on Pandemic Preparedness
An online consultation on the SRIA was held from November 13th 2024 until December 15th 2024 to collect the feedback of the research community, diverse stakeholders, policymakers and the broader public interest. The detailed results of the consultation can be found in Appendix 8 of the amended version of the SRIA. The feedback received was overall positive, and the comments were taken into account to build the final version of the document, which can be found below.
