The European Partnership for Pandemic Preparedness will serve as a coordinated, long-termframework to strengthen Europe’s capacity to respond to health crises. As part of this effort, BE READY PLUS is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition from planning to implementation of the Partnership. Building on the foundation laid down in BE READY, this initiative will provide the necessary administrative and organizational support to establish the partnership’s governance, operational model, and strategic activities.

A key focus of BE READY PLUS is to translate research priorities into actionable steps through a call topic selection strategy aligned with the SRIA. While launching Joint Transnational Calls (JTCs) is beyond the scope of this initiative, BE READY PLUS will lay the groundwork for early actions, ensuring that the partnership is fully prepared to implement the SRIA from its first annual workplan.
